It is said that, on average, 60 to 80 percent of all drug rehab and treatment center graduates will relapse within the first 12 months after discharge from a residential treatment program.

It is important to understand why this occurs and why so many treatment facilities miss the mark in terms of offering effective relapse prevention groups & services. Nearly all treatment centers offer some element of relapse prevention within their core treatment program, however, the vast majority approach it from an across-the-board, cookie-cutter perspective as opposed to looking at it uniquely from the client's own unique perspective.
